I have worked for more than twenty years in the field of education: as an artist/scientist in residence, workshop facilitator, studio teacher (atelierista) and pedagogical lead.

I am inspired by educational approaches in Reggio Emilia and worldwide that value children as makers of culture and meaning. I specialise in personalised, inclusive, experiential learning; emergent curriculum; place-based/ecological education; design thinking and collaborative research.

My dual academic background in Arts and Science means I search out cross-connections and complexities in learning. I support children and adults to investigate these, developing flexible thinking alongside foundational understanding.

I create physical and social spaces for learning that are playful and purposeful and believe we learn best through diversity, connection and curiosity.
